There are memories and images that transport us. There are media supports that are losing the ability to be reproduced; yet as long as they last, they can take us to the memories and places we lived. Like memory, they can deteriorate, distort or disappear.
Wearing memories is a collection of three pieces made with obsolete audiovisual material: 16 mm film, VHS and DVDs. Each medium relates to a different period of memories: 16 mm are the ancestors, VHS is childhood and DVDs are youth. Dresses that contain memories, like a second skin that relives with the distortion of time.
