Mar resiliente<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n

Resilientes es un homenaje a las personas que luchan en contra del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n

Resilientes es una serie de 3 piezas hechas con materiales naturales que hablan de varios conflictos y denuncian como nuestras acciones han llevado a una situaci\u00f3n de estr\u00e9s al planeta.<\/p>\n

En esta pieza encontramos Nacra (Pinna nobilis), Centollo (Maja squinado), Ostras y Coral rojo del mediterr\u00e1neo.<\/p>\n

Las capturas mundiales de ostras en 2013 llegaron a 2.317.000 kilos anuales y en 2009 se pescaron unos 6.700.000 kg de Centollo en el mundo.<\/p>\n

El coral tiene muchos factores que hace que est\u00e9 sufriendo una situaci\u00f3n extrema que si no frenamos le llevar\u00e1 a su extinci\u00f3n. Las amenazas son entre otras el aumento de la temperatura marina y la acidificaci\u00f3n, las capturas directas tanto, para la joyer\u00eda, la miner\u00eda y construcci\u00f3n, para decorar acuarios marinos, para hacer suplementos de calcio y para uso m\u00e9dico. A pesar del enorme esfuerzo de muchas personas para evitarlo, se siguen coincidiendo licencias para la extracci\u00f3n y permitiendo su comercializaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n

El coral rojo que he usado fue extra\u00eddo en los a\u00f1os 70 en el Cap de Creus. Son los restos recogidos por el padre de un amigo, que los coraleros consideraban muy peque\u00f1os para su comercializaci\u00f3n en aquel momento. Hoy en d\u00eda las colonias de coral vivo raramente llegan a estas dimensiones. El coral crece de 3 a 5 mm. por a\u00f1o. Tuve muchos dilemas a la hora de hacer esta pieza, por la situaci\u00f3n cr\u00edtica en la que se encuentra el coral actualmente, pero aun as\u00ed decid\u00ed utilizarlo para denunciar la situaci\u00f3n actual.<\/p>\n\n

Para esta pieza tambi\u00e9n he usado Nacra que ten\u00eda guardada mi abuela. Las N\u00e1caras son el molusco m\u00e1s grande que se encuentra en el mediterr\u00e1neo, se han tenido que enfrentar a las amenazas de la pesca, la contaminaci\u00f3n y la reducci\u00f3n de las posidonias, su h\u00e1bitat natural. Pero actualmente est\u00e1n en peligro cr\u00edtico de extinci\u00f3n porque han perdido m\u00e1s del 90% de su poblaci\u00f3n en tres a\u00f1os por culpa de un pat\u00f3geno que las ha matado.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2363,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[40],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-2387","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-proyectos"],"yoast_head":"\nAloma Lafontana -
